At a plus a 5th-floor cacao tasting room that took us to Palawan briefed by a retired young Unilever professional based in Singapore returning to the Philippines advocating for a safe and preserved environment.

Walking through this hidden area, I felt a sense of awe at the layers of the city I often overlook. My own place of residence has its comforts, but here, in the industrial belly of Makati, there is a pulse of reinvention.
It is a world of small wins—specialty Japanese preparations, the guilt-free organic find, the community of a design studio—that reminds an "urban trekker" that the best stories are often found where the pavement is most worn.
Across all outlets, the young service staff provide attentive service that leaves a strong positive impression on visitors.
Discovering this strip on a Sunday, I realized that sometimes, all it takes to find a new world is a nephew’s suggestion and the willingness to get a little bit lost.
