Batanes is a show of strength on the grandness and goodness of living. Clean, fresh air, soft drinking water, expansiveness, heights, relaxing sounds. Our issues and worries are too small to get in the way of appreciating how wonderful it is to live and to be human.Two islands? The island was no longer just theirs but ours too. The concepts were no longer just words but with life. The Ivatans and the urban dwellers connected.
